FOOD

FRIED RICE

INGREDIENTS:

·        2 plates of rice
·        1 chicken breast, lice cube
·        12 middle size shrimps
·        3 eggs, stir well
·        1 small bowl bean sprout
·        1 onion, slice small
·        5 shallot, hopped fine
·        2 red chili, hopped fine without the seeds
·        2 leeks, cut rough
·        4 spoon cooking oil
·        1 spoon sweat soy sauce
·        1 spoon salty soy sauce
·        1 teaspoon salt or taste
·        1 teaspoon pepper

METHOD:

1.     Sauté onion, red chili till smells nice then add chicken and shrimps, stir until they change color.
2.     Add egg, scramble well.
3.     Add steamed rice and soy sauce, mix well.
4.     Add leeks, bean sprout, salt and pepper. Stir till leeks look wilt.
5.     Take it out from the wok and serve with garnish to taste


DRINK

GINGER LEMONADE

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 cups white sugar
  • 4 quarts water
  • 14 slices fresh ginger root
  • 4 cups fresh lemon juice
  • 2 lemons, sliced

METHOD:

1.     In an 8-quart saucepan combine sugar, water and ginger root. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.
2.     Stir in lemon juice. Cool 15 minutes. Remove ginger. Refrigerate lemonade at least 1 hour, or until chilled.
3.     Serve over ice, and garnish with lemon slices.

MEXICAN HOT CHOCOLATE

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 tablespoons instant hot chocolate mix
  • 1 tablespoon chocolate syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch chili powder
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup boiling water

METHOD:

1.     In a large mug, mix the hot chocolate mix, chocolate syrup, cinnamon, and chili powder. Pour in the milk. Add the boiling water and stir.
